Visão geral do programa

O Programa de Estudo de Caso Acadêmico do Simio é uma reimaginação da competição estudantil que o Simio organizou por muitos anos, mas com o objetivo específico de ajudar os participantes a compreender e aplicar a modelagem com um propósito.

  • O Programa de Estudo de Caso Acadêmico é um lançamento semestral de material de instrução formulado em torno de uma tarefa, com materiais de ensino fornecidos para apoiar os alunos em sua investigação, bem como soluções para a tarefa.
  • O programa será oferecido no outono e na primavera de cada ano acadêmico, e os inscritos terão acesso on-line aos materiais para cada período em que estiverem inscritos.

Para solicitar recursos para instrutores, envie um e-mail para academic@simio.com. Para receber esses recursos, você deve ser um instrutor de curso verificado. Se você já for um pedido de subsídio, forneça o seu Identificador de subsídio (por exemplo, AG-00000000-00000) com a sua solicitação. Caso contrário, forneça prova de seu status e de sua afiliação com a instituição acadêmica.

Estudo de caso acadêmico atual – Primavera de 2025

O Simio BBQ Smoke Pit é um restaurante local em ascensão. Ele oferece uma variedade de carnes defumadas para churrasco e acompanhamentos clássicos. Esse restaurante improvisado está localizado em um prédio antigo e reformado em um quarteirão movimentado do centro da cidade. Devido às restrições de tamanho, esse estabelecimento é apenas para viagem. No entanto, como o Simio BBQ Smoke Pit continua a crescer em popularidade, os clientes estão enfrentando tempos de espera mais longos devido à falta de produtos e a uma força de trabalho limitada. Para acompanhar a demanda, o restaurante precisa de ajuda para determinar quais novas políticas devem ser adotadas para resolver os gargalos no atendimento.
