About the presenter
Katy Ifkovits, Product Engineer at Simio
Katy took her first course on Simio in 2012 and has been using simulation to improve processes ever since. Over the last decade, she has focused on healthcare logistics and supply chain, both in school and in industry. She received her Ph.D. in Industrial and Systems Engineering from North Carolina State University where she used Simio to model different types of pharmacies and taught an introductory simulation course. Katy joined Simio in 2022 as a product engineer and focuses on providing technical support to customers to assist them in using Simio to its highest functionality and accomplishing their goals.
