We kick off the 2025 season of the Simio Solution Series with a 3-part series that introduces the foundational concepts of discrete event digital twin simulation modeling with Simio. Building Blocks of Simio Modeling – Part I will equip participants with the essential tools to build Simio models successfully and efficiently. Topics will include key features and functions of Simio, such as navigating the interface, working with intelligent objects, using model validation tools, and analyzing results. The session will also highlight essential project design concepts, including best practices for gathering input data, making assumptions, defining scenarios, and measuring KPIs. Whether you’re new to simulation or looking to refine your approach, this first session will provide actionable insights to establish a strong foundation for your modeling skills.

About the presenter

Adam Sneath

Adam Sneath, Solutions Engineer at Simio

Adam is a solutions engineer at Simio. He is an experienced simulation modeler and customer success facilitator with broad exposure across manufacturing and life sciences modeling applications. He is currently focused on projects regarding aerospace & defense manufacturing, bio-pharmaceutical manufacturing, cell therapy, nuclear power process design and lab equipment optimization. Before joining Simio, he served as a Nuclear Physics Researcher at the Paul Scherrer Institute (PSI). He is an alumnus of the University of Pittsburgh Swanson School of Engineering and Duquesne University where he got a BS in Industrial engineering and a BA Physics respectively. He specialized in Health Systems Engineering Concentration and was the Commencement Speaker and Valedictorian for the University of Pittsburgh Engineering Class of 2019. His hobbies include outdoor adventuring and rock-climbing.
